Joe Petrosino is a young Italian-American determined to achieve his dream: to become a policeman and fight the Italian underworld. Thanks to his willpower and a good dose of courage he succeeds in his intent, becomes a police lieutenant in New York and contributes to the arrest and expatriation of a boss. Things get complicated for him when he decides to go to Sicily to discover the links between the mafia and New York crime.
